Show your support for State Representative Anna Wills by walking with her in the Apple Valley Freedom Days parade!
The parade will start at 1pm Saturday, July 4. Please arrive at 12pm to help sticker the crowd! (No stickering during the parade.) We are Unit #33.
We need folks who can walk in the parade, ride in our trailer, or watch the parade and cheer us on! Don't forget to wear your Anna Wills t-shirt or something patriotic!
The parade will begin at Pennock Avenue North, lead to 145th Street West and end on Hayes Road at the Apple Valley High School (AVHS).
The parade route will be blocked off starting at 11am. To park in the AVHS parking lot, located at the end of the parade route, you will need a parking pass. We will provide parking passes on site on a first come, first served basis.
Carpooling is highly recommended, and we suggest you meet our unit on Whitney Drive off of Cedar Avenue, drop off folks in your party, pick up a parking pass and a roll of stickers, drive to AVHS, park, and walk back to the start of the parade-stickering parade watchers as you go!
-No children 13 and under.
-No rollerblades, wagons, bikes, or strollers.
Senate District 57 Republicans will provide refreshments for all volunteers at the end of the parade!
